Florence Falls
Glacier National Park

An avalanche has covered practically obliterated part of the trail to the Florence Falls cascade but 'cleanup crews' hope to reopen it in June 2003. The Florence Falls trailhead is at the Jackson Glacier Overlook (36.1 miles from West Glacier; 14.0 miles from St. Mary). Take the Gunsight Pass Trail and in a little less than one mile you'll be at Florence Falls.
