Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls is a little over a mile up the very steep and challenging Hanging Lake trail in Glenwood Canyon. The reward, though, is well worth the effort; the spray from the falls like a veil some 20 to 25 feet into the lake. There are many other cascades in the canyon but a feature you surely shouldn't miss is Spouting Rock. The water shoots out of holes in the canyon wall like a fire hydrant: quite a sight!

Bridal Veil Falls is located 10 miles east of Glenwood Springs on I-70. If you are eastbound use exit 126 ( Hanging Lake). Westbound traffic should use exit 121 (Grizzly Creek), then double back to exit 126.
